Even a structure that does not come from the rational mind can be rationalised. We could model every corner and crevice of the goetheanum and argue that it is all explained by mathematics and algorithms, but that is not where it came from. You can’t create architecture from rational processes, only use these processes to rationalise it in post. Maybe the focus on rational thought as being truth and therefore being thought of as the central force or power of the human mind is what resulted in the degradation of quality of life etc.
